Comparison of flow and indicators of end-of-life vehicle between the European Union and Japan

Introduction
End-of-life vehicle (ELV) consists of many valuable resources which have the potential to be circulated back in the system. Robust rules and policy are thus needed to assure the sustainable management of these valuable resources. It is also necessary that there is harmony in these indicators so that the performance of different countries and region can be easily evaluated and compared. This research aims to understand flow of material in EU and Japan and their differences in policies and indicators of EU and Japan so that these indicators could be directly compared.
